The Edge plays this song with a slide live. When we perform it we rearranged it slightly for the local pub/club gig crowd size! This tone has a big fat distortion sound, with a slightly broken up basic tone for the verses of the song.

Start with the STOMP on for the opening riffs and feedback.  Then for the verses I turn on the MOD and turn off the STOMP and play nice pretty open chords.  I then use the STOMP for the second time the riffs kick in and the solo section.  In our arrangement we include an extended solo with some Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Chile style riffing and Wah wah-ing while the band vamps on the E chord.
